Author George Anastasia offers a fresh perspective on the Teflon Don's legacy by collaborating with one of the Gambino Crime Family's most notorious foot soldiers. Using extensive interviews with John Alite - "Junior" Gotti's right hand man - the source material shatters many myths surrounding Gotti's reign in the late 1980s. While everyone saw him as the Dapper Don, the reality according to Alite was the exact opposite. Having his clothes picked out for him whenever he was out in front of the cameras, behind the scenes, Gotti was nothing more than a boorish thug who broke every rule that he expected his family to follow. But the real meat of the book deals with his kid, aka "Dumbfella." Whether all the facts in this book are true is debatable but true crime fans will love it!
