When one prosperous horse trader suffered a personal loss inflicted by a nobleman, he tried to get reparations from the tribunal, in the days of kings in old France. Not unlike modern days of a little guy's fight against city hall, no dice going against the kinsmen of the nobles. Refused to accept the rigged court ruling and having suffered more great personal losses, he led an uprising to force the court to reconsider. A study on the social lives and values in a monarchy (dictator) system, a timely topic in today's geopolitical climate with good settings and actors but agree that too many slow static scenes shot in gloomy natural light with cantankerous background sounds.
