This is a well-done, balanced, easy- to -watch -and -understand discussion on the theology of Hell and how this relates to us, the World, and our lives! From historical, cultural perpectives of the Jewish to the Christian times, then and today! It is neither preachy nor dry, nor dark! The Director, Kevin Miller, filmed a significant part in New York at the 9/11 Memorial Site! He combines the interviews with the imagery of what happened there politically and on civillian, moral responses! A creative way of making this documentary to show a subtext of what kind of people a certain theology turns us into! Theology and behaviour! This film offers Different perspectives on the Hell Theology from the various Jewish, Christian sources (incl Eastern Orthodox and Universal) and well-known present authors! Challenging and thought-provoking, encouraging us to ask questions and not to just accept dogmas! This film is an eye opener! This film brings attention to the fact that some Evangelical preachers and churches have become more and more fundamentalist, just as bad as the Pharisess were in Jesus' times! The last quarter of the Film deals with the Response for our daily lives.. it is a powerful, hope-filled reminder that no matter which theology we subscribe to, the most important part is who we are as people and how we treat people in the World, our service to others! Not out of fear, but out of grace, with compassion and love! Make sure to watch the Special Features section and the Director's Commentary in the Options section! He has a great voice for commenting and adds quite a few thoughtful comments! Worthwhile!
