I was hoping for a mat workout but this workout uses anything but the traditional crunches. There is a large cardio and plyometric component in the Level 1 workout, to help shed fat. This was not kind to my knees. The Level 2 workout was actually easier because there was less cardio and more direct abs work. Do both together for a good hour of sweat. My fitness level is high and I was dripping with sweat by the end.
