What could be better than a book written by these two amazing authors?!! This is what I thought when I heard about this book and expected it to be great! I love science fiction that takes the unbelievable and makes it believable. For example, so much of what happens in Lord of the Rings is unbelievable but the Tolkien has set up cultures, setting, magic systems, and more to make everything work so the the reader can sit back, enjoy, and easily buy into the story. These authors usually do the same in their other books. Not so in this book. I just could not buy what they were selling. And I walked in wanting to buy. The cause of the madness that occurs in this book made no sense for a world with 6 suns. None. This surprised me coming from Asimov who I believe was a scientist himself. I have not read the original story. I like the beginning with the battle between science versus religion. Cool idea of a world that never experiences night and how that may impact a people psychologically and culturally as far as their fear of the dark. That part was interesting.
