The third installment in the Elite Guardian's series did not disappoint but continued the trend of captivating and entertaining the reader. Of course I'm glad because it means the author has not run out of ideas (I'm looking forward to reading the fourth book)
This story featured Maddy, an elite guardian and Quinn a detective who become the next targets of a serial killer. Maddy and Quinn although in high danger never quit and along the way reconciled their feelings for each other. It seemed like there were parts where I wasn't turning the page fast enough, and even had to constrain myself from peeking at the end to alleviate my suspense. Fans of Eason should be pleased with this novel.

The first two books in the series were good but this one is exceptional! Every time you think you know where the story is going it takes another turn, the complexity of the crimes and the characters personal lives is great. A terrific read.
