When their secret organization headquarters are destroyed and the world is held hostage, their journey leads the Kingsman agents to the discovery of an allied spy organization in the US called Statesman, dating back to the day they were both founded. In a new adventure that tests their agents' strength and wits to the limit, these two elite secret organizations band together to defeat a ruthless common enemy, in order to save the world, something that's becoming a bit of a habit for Eggsy.

Well, this one certainly goes on my Movies I've (only) Watched because I'm MARRIED list!!

I liked this one a little bit more than the original just because it wasn't nearly as much of a blood bath; it may even be a little funnier to boot. However, I'm not going to "recommend" this movie at all. The only redeeming quality of this film was seeing Julianne Moore in the "bad gal role", looks like she had a lot of fun hamming it up!!! Bruce Greenwood also hammed it up as "The President" a role he has played again and again.

Loved the first one.
This one was enjoyable, although somethings didn't make sense.
Hope they end up following through with a third

I loved it, better than the first one, probably my favourite comic/adventure/spy film ever. Lots of charm, chemistry, surprises, and never boring, which is pretty amazing considering the number of things that blow up. I refuse to give five stars to a buddy cop movie, or I would; I may or may not still be singing that song I don't even like.

I could have missed this one and been just as happy. Lots of action, swearing, car chases. All the elements, but pretty juvenile all in all.

The movie was not bad. Not amazing but definitely had a few laughs

I still enjoy the first Kingsman more, but two was more (but not much more) entertaining than I thought it would be.

Not good. Very disjointed plot. Misused of big stars.

I was torn with this film, as I had hoped it would be up to the quality of the first one, Kingsmen: The Secret Service (2014), however found it to have gone too far with it's fantasy, and lost some of it's credibility for me.
However, many times when I had almost given up of it being as good as the first one, the story line would change and make me change my mind again. Ultimately, Julianne Moore "madd genius," did not work for me, nor did some of the other incredible, but just as unbelievable parts of the film.
I still liked this film and think it is as well done as any other good action movie, but just not as good as the previous one. Fine performances by Taron Egerton (Eggsy), Colin Firth (Harry), Hanna Alstrom (Princess Tilde), Channing Tatum (Tequila), Pedro Pascal (Whisky), Mark Strong (Merlin) and the underplayed Halle Berry (Ginger). Julianne Moore (Poppy) is a good actress, but just thought that they way this role was played, did not suit this film, nor the Elton John appearance.
The 10 minute extra on the DVD, was interesting to see how the 2 week long shooting of the black taxi scene was done.

This film has the gadgetry and presumptive sexual content of a 70's Bond film combined with the preposterous plot of an Austin Powers film, but is a lot cruder and not intended to be funny. It makes valid arguments for not treating all recreational drugs and users thereof the same, and that illegal drug trade is violently competitive because it is ridiculously profitable. However, it greatly over-simplifies that discussion, relies too heavily on other stereotypes and tosses in a last minute plug for gender equality regardless of skill sets. I'm surprised Elton John agreed to his part. If you are male and not inclined to think about action films, this may be for you.

First movie okay, this absouletely stupid, junior high humor.A bunch of drunk, stoned junior high boys could have written it and probably did.Extreme waste of acting talent especially Jeff Bridges.Elton John just looked like a total idiot, maybe he wants to be a cross dancer.Do not recommend no stars.

Nearly the entire movie script is posted in IMDb but none really good, like this one:

[Eggsy enters Whiskey's Ford Bronco]

Eggsy: Got the passes from my contact. You're gonna love Glastonbury.

Whiskey: Well, that's the easy part, kid. Take a look in the glove box.

[Eggsy opens the glove compartment and grabs a pill box. He opens the box and see a finger-sized condom]

Eggsy: Fucking hell, bruv. Thought everything was supposed to be bigger in America. Is this why you overcompensate with these massive cars?
