hello!! absolutely the worst piece of filmaking in this building>> what does it do and what is it's purpose? well, it shows how small groups of people, half of the children, purchase, raise an breed llamas for : what?? you never find out !! what you DO learn is that they are 'cool' (spoken my most of them) and nothing more !! they all start off with 1, 2 or 3 llamas and raise them, groom them and breed them until they all get medium-sized herds of from 20-30 to upwards of 80 or so (looks like ) And why ?? so they can enter a contest every other week ,attended by maybe 10 people, 25 breeders and the same animals!! some get medals, statues or certificates placing them in those cats where in the accrue roomsfull of these somewhat useless piles of paper. Meanwhile they get bigger, more numerous and here's the thing: increase in value!! Then they seem to sell to each other, friends and some try to get bankloans AGAINST these piles of hungry, hungry llamas !! Yeah, they gotta feed 'em AND pull there incisors 'cause in the RUT they have a tendency to CHew! each other. And meanwhile every part of these llama-mills are eventually gonna have to be dealt with.(i 'pologize for my spelling...i was just gonna destroy this dvd but when i went to look it up i read the previous opinions and they were easily swayed by their WHAT? exactly ?? ) so, i'm REALLY gonna light 'em up !! Hundreds of little kids w/no knowledge of husbandry, w/peeps that wanna just fling cash at the Otha Than L'il Hoss' Farms !! When you go on -site to one of these "contests" there are almost more people singing the openin' Anthem than all of the customers (EXagerrated, yea, but look fo' yourself. MAYBE ! PEOPLE in the Stands!! These Nationals !! are in a li' horse thingy and they pass out Awards like crack !! some of these lil kids oppose each other so many times that it's kinda too familiar. All of these teenage girls never even describe these animals in ANY kind of terms...age, health, tendencies, names, and other than "cool" that's it ?! i wanna shoot the parents NOW because there will be trouble later when 200 horse-sized buckos will not be affordable anymore and in fact will be fairly expensive to maintain, i think !! (i feel better now!) In fact get this copy, watch it, and try NOT to get upset at the waste just from every direction. Hey, mom and DAD...kiss or hug the kids every year or so or explain how animals reproduce and yadda yadda Maybe it's me ???

If you know nothing about llamas then this will open your eyes to an amazing world. Featuring two young women who show llamas around the US (who knew people did this?) with side stories of a mother and daughter who have a therapy llama, ranchers and more. A delightful watch.
