If you're 12, AND have no brain cells (z-e-r-o)*, you might find this entertaining.
(*Danger: If you do have any brain cells, this will be an assault on them...)
The film was made by 'China Film Co.', so that pretty much says it all right there.
OK, so there isn't the slightest shred of reality in the film, but again, the psychological pummeling is the real problem. It's pure P.C. & propaganda from beginning to end.
e.g. the first sequence: Sure! Cuba (like all communist dictatorships: Venezuela, Zimbabwe, N. Korea, China, etc.) is just one big party! : ) Drag racing in the streets, girls (who look like they came off a cover of Pl@yboy) in micro micro minis, in thongs, dancing in the streets, partying, great music, food, etc., etc. Complete with posters of che guevara on the streets; seen during the first drag race scene. (For those of you who don't know who this murdering psychopath & darling of communism was, look up some actual history on him.)
Vin Diesel's first line sums it up: "That Cuban 'Spirit'!" He's referring to them using parts from anything to keep cars from the 50's running. Human ingenuity, yes. But it's not "The Cuban Spirit". It's a result of lack of cars, parts, money, etc., due to the unbelievable oppression these people have been under since the 1950's. (Thanks communism.)
The film actually goes downhill from there. Yes, it's nice to be able to fly, and not have gravity be a constraint, ever, not to mention the girls who are tougher than Hercules (yawn), but it gets to be ridiculous after the first .0001 seconds, let alone the 1,000,000th time.

"The Fate of the Furious" (aka "FOF," aka "F8," aka "Feight") is the latest in the ridiculous, long-running franchise. For what they are, the movies are pretty good dumb fun. This one, however, is mostly just dumb. Charlize Theron (with very confusing hair) is the antagonist here and everyone else drives around a lot. There is a car chase on ice, so maybe they should called this "Furious on Ice." Directed by F. Gary Gray ("The Negotiator," "The Italian Job.").

Silly, with non-stop action, some funny dialogue, mindlessly entertaining.

Best movie of the series. Full of action and stunts.
The villain is not as strong as the good guys. So you would never think that the good guys could be killed by bad guys.
The action starts from the first scene and the stunts are simply awesome!

A serviceable plot which made this stunt fest on wheels a pleasure watch. Charlize made a dangerous villainess as Mad Max 2015 and Atomic Blonde 2017. Don't miss the Bonus: "All About the Stunts" - "Malecón Havana Street Race," "Iceland Stunt Diaries" and "Streets of New York." All on location and cutting edge props to bring the incredible actions alive. Take off the thinking hats and enjoy the ride.

Over the top action, some humor. Fun to watch and not think too hard about.

I REALLY enjoy the Fast and Furious franchise. Don't watch if you want something believable. Soooooo entertaining, especially Jason Statham!

gee, all of the previous ones were watchable at least. This one was garbage.

Everything sucks in this move, where do I start? The plot of controlling 1,000 cars all at the same time to catch 1 limo, the bad jokes, the blackmail of a kidnapped child one didn't know existed, or the submarine chase thru/on ice? Too much going on to appreciate the action. Do not make another one, PLEASE!
