Beau Lotto shows that the next big innovation is not a new technology: it is a new way of seeing. He explains that our brain didn't evolve to see the world accurately. It can't! With illustrations and optical illusions throughout, and with explanations of the science behind how our perceptions operate, Deviate will revolutionize the way you see yourself, others, and the world. With this new understanding of how the brain functions, we can apply these insights to every aspect of life and work.

This is a very thought-provoking book. I renewed the book so that I could read it a second and third time. The message isn't that complicated but the story that it is telling is pretty profound and I wanted to really "get it".

He bases his ideas on scientific research which, by itself, is fascinating.

This is a great book for anyone who wants to expand what is personally possible.
