I'm working my way though the series. Greaney has developed quite a character in Court Gentry. The CIA (which comes off imperfect though pretty competent in Greaney's efforts in the Jack Ryan series) and it's short lived arm, The Townsend Group, is turning into Gentry's foil. About 2/3 through, it dawned on me that the CIA and Townsend are in this series what the fumbling Col. Klink and Co. were in Hogan's Heroes.

SPOILER ALERT:

It's too bad Court wasn't allowed to save Ruth. I thought they might work together again.

The repetition of the roles of some of the characters was a little annoying. In future books, Greaney avoided that by providing a main character index. That's fine if it avoids the repetition. Though I find it unnecessary in this series. The author probably picked it up from Clancy. Back when Clancy wrote the novels, you needed the list. Every page was dense and the plots were deep.

I really enjoyed this book. The story adds the usual trackers for the Gray Man but this time it adds the Mossad to the pursuit. At the end, I just had to keep reading to know what would happen. I knew the hero would survive since he is the hero after all, but how he did it was the fun part

Its good but not the best. Not as much action as past novel. I hope he is not on the down bound train.
