"Nobody said being the daughter of an army general was easy. But when her dad sends a teenage subordinate to babysit her while he's away? That's taking it a step too far. Cade, as beautiful as he is deadly, watches Kori with more than just interest. He looks at her like he knows her very soul...Turns out, Kori's dad isn't just an army general--he's the head of a secret government project that has invented a way to travel between parallel dimensions. Dimensions where there are infinite Koris, infinite Cades--and apparently, on every other Earth, they're madly in love."--Page [4] of cover.

Oh My Goodness! I loved this book. I'm just so frustrated to have to wait for more story. Don't misunderstand, this wasn't necessarily a book with a cliffhanger. There's a satisfactory conclusion in this first installment, but there's just more story to be told. And I can't wait!

Kori is a high school student with a penchant for art via graffiti. When she lands in trouble one too many times, her military father enlists two soldiers as Kori's guardians while he's away. Unbeknownst to her, they are from a parallel universe where they are closely acquainted with the Kori of their world. They are actually there to protect her from a parallel universe-jumping enemy rather than from getting herself in trouble. Although, there's that too!

I'm kind of a junkie for sci-fi when it involves time-travel or parallel universes. Combine that with the YA romance genre and I'm sold. This book hit all my sci-fi reading buttons with coherent writing and well-developed characters. I was able to connect to the characters plights, as well as immerse myself in the sci-fi elements with plausibility. There was just enough romance without it overshadowing the action and suspense. To put it simply, I enjoyed this story and will wait in anticipation of the next installment.
