This book by Jennifer Mathieu was one of the best books I ever read. This book is about how Ethan came back from a kidnapping experience after 4 years and is still trying to recover. It is also about how Caroline is trying to help her brother and she has to ask Ethan for help. The main characters in this book are Ethan, Caroline, Ethan Parents, Dylan, and Dr. Greenberg. Ethan and Dylan were involved in a kidnapping. Ethan was kidnapped for 4 years and Dylan was kidnapped for 4 days. Ethan is trying to recover and Caroline is trying to figure out what happened. This book from May 26, 2016 to June 20, 2017. This book is in Dove Lake, Texas. I really like how the author told me who was in First Person because in most books I read sometimes it can be confusing as to who is in First Person. I also really liked how even though both Ethan and Caroline were facing problems and challenges they persevered and overcame their problems. There were many conflicts during this book between many different characters. Some dynamic characters were Caroline and Ethan. There was a lot of humor from mostly Ethan and Caroline. I think that if you just want to read a good book you would like AfterWard. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this book.
