A wonderful iconic voice, like no other.

Sep 06, 2016

In the Guinness Book of World Records, singer/actress, Whitney Houston is cited as being the most awarded female entertainer of all time, with 415 awards to her credit.

To date, Whitney Houston's records (7 studio albums and 3 movie soundtracks) have sold more than 200 million copies, worldwide.

Former gospel-singer-turned-pop-diva, Houston's impressive, mezzo-soprano singing voice had an astonishing range and her skills in using it were nothing short of extraordinary.

Born in Newark, New Jersey in 1963, Whitney began to seriously pursue a career as a singer at the age of 15.

This "Best Of" CD-collection contains 18 tracks in all. 2 of my favourite tunes in this compilation are - "How Will I Know?" and "I Will Always Love You".... (*Watch music-video*)

*Note* - Sad to say - In 2012, at the age of 48, Whitney Houston drowned in her bathtub. It was heart disease, along with substance abuse, that proved to be the cause of her tragic and untimely death.
