This is was AMAZING!!! What a blessing Officer Pegues is for both the African American and the Law Enforcement communities. I support all human beings to learn, live and progress. His experiences and entire life is a prime example of chances and determination to be the BEST human being he could possibly be!!!

A very good (often amusing)look into the inner workings of NYPD. It gives credibility to the charges of racism and brutality that are leveled against the department. I found it also enlightening re: Giuliani's claims of crime reduction. According to the author, the work really was a result of Mayor Dinkins A quick entertaining read.
