I liked this anthology better than its predecessor because this book did not have any stories that I truly hated like some of the stories in “My True Love Gave to Me.” In this short story collection there are diverse stories about love lost, love found, and surprisingly numerous supernatural themed stories about love. This is a quirky and cute summer read. My favorite story was the story that follows up on Marigold and North’s relationship that first began in a story from “My True Love Gave to Me.”

After reading "My True Love Gave to Me" I was kinda disappointed with this one. I was hoping for more cute summer relationships but thats not what this book really offered. It wasn't a huge page turner for me but still had some good stories. Over all I’d give this book 3 stars out of 5.

This book is my #1 beach read for 2016. Full of amazing authors, various genres, and lots of charm, this collection has something for everyone. Get on the holds list before summer is up!
Stand out stories: Libba Bray, Leigh Bardugo, and Lev Grossman.

Overall, I think I liked the previous collection just a touch better, but this still had some good stories. And most from authors I have never read before.

My favorites were from Stephanie Perkins, Tim Federle, Veronica Roth, Jennifer E. Smith, and Lev Grossman.
