This film is structured similar to a 1990 film, "Jacob's Ladder," but this movie seems to be about a woman who becomes entranced with investment grifting. The viewer may ask, is this woman having a nervous breakdown? Does she love her tactics and strategies so much that she will go to the limit? Is this film an Eastern German view of capitalistic ventures as something that corrupts the soul? Maybe this film asks too much of the average film patron.
