By far the best entry in the Dare Island series. An utterly wonderful book.

This is a novel about second chances, overcoming obstacles, dealing with the past, and moving forward with life. Gabe and Jane were wonderfully true-to-life characters, and you understood their fears, struggles, and dreams.

I was worried about Kantra introducing a character that had been in prison, and if I would be ok with that, but she wove Gabe's feelings, history, and character into the story perfectly. My one quibble would be that I think their relationship moved too quickly, but, then, it is a romance novel.

Definitely my favourite romance novel of 2016!
