Repugnant and awful, which of course is to be expected from anything being written by Bendis.

The book is awesome. I think Brian Michael Bendis is doing the best thing with X-Men since Claremont's run. There is a lot of fresh and exciting ideas. My only peeves are how all the female characters seem to be Jean's best friends. Though I have a theory about that. If it doesn't pan out then that seems a little like lazy writing. The art is all over the place unfortunately, and the Black Vortex crossover just really throws everything for a loop and not in a good way as it seems like the X-Men were just in space with the Guardians not two seconds ago having a space age adventure. It also seems like a lame excuse to have one X-Man leave and another return. Overall one of the weaker volumes but still better than most everything else out there by Marvel or the Esteemed Competition.

The flow of this one doesn't work, as it includes a tie-in to some big event... However it's still quite entertaining.
