You know how cold days just make you want to curl up with a good story? Thomas decides to build a fort to read in, but by the time he comes back with a flashlight, he hears noises inside - it's a bear! Thomas cleverly lures the bear out of the cave with all sorts of goodies, but when he finally beats the bear back to the cave, Thomas is surprised to hear the bear crying. Readers now see that the "bear" is actually Thomas' younger brother wearing a costume. Deciding that a one-brother fort isn't a very fun fort at all, the pair rebuilds a cave for the two of them to enjoy. This is a sweet story to snuggle up and read together, plus the fun identity twist for young listeners. The last page gives directions for building your very own cave, so you may find yourself surrounded by couch cushions and blankets before long! All the cozier for sharing books, we say.
