a good read that gave me much to ponder on diversity. I found the author giving us an unsparing eye on the brutal racism of the American frontier and the dark side of the arrogance of those that settled the West in both productive and destructive terms I found the lyrical tone and the weaving of the story of the three lives enjoyable..

Mixture of the American west with the white man taking advantage of making money and how his daughter suffered in her life because of his anger and wealth.
