I love how this book gives a simple understandable look at the Inuktitut language for children. The phonetic break down was really appreciated so I didn't butcher it when reading it to my daughters and I especially was grateful for the word 'Kunik' which is the nose kisses. These were used in my family when I was a child but then were called Eskimo kisses and when you know better you do better so we had the kisses but didn't have a word. So now we have a beautiful word for this show of affection and as a mother I'm very grateful for it.
