I felt this book was explained clearly. I didn't try any of the recipes or other craft, but the projects looked very doable. I was surprised however that the subtitle uses the word paint as one of the first elements, but there was very little time spent on paint. Most of the time was spent on ink.

This book has all the "recipes" you need to make your basic must-have supplies (charcoal, paint, sketchbooks, etc.). I got to try several and I can proudly say that they worked very well. The instructions are simple and easy to follow and not as time consuming as I thought they would be. I'll definitely be buying a copy of this for my personal art library!

Oct 28 2015......this book is a delight to the eyes. Don't imagine I'll ever have the time (or energy!) to make anything in it, but it is a great book to peruse. Check it out!
