"An ancient history lesson emerges from this account of the way the Greeks tricked the Trojans and rescued Helen of Troy. The book is well tailored to younger readers with careful explanations and short sentences; a pronunciation guide is appended. Drawings portray the story's main events. A nice supplement to units on ancient Greece or mythology."--Booklist.

Nice book. I got it for my 6 years old daughter and it was definitely too complicated for her. I read it to her, skipping some sentences (and adding some explanations) to make it easier and more interesting. She loved it and she was so excited that she told the story to her best friend.

I think it is a great book for kids about 8-10 years old to learn about the Trojan horse or younger if an adult can help them read through it.
