I like this series. Well written. The Characters are well written and likeable.

It took me almost 100 pages to get into this book, but once I did I couldn't put it down. If you like "The Librarian" movies and TV Series on the TNT Network, you'll love this new series. This was the 1st book I've read by this author and now I'm looking forward to reading her other series, too!

The author lost me when Jane, the resort manager was given a locket and the responsibility of being guardian of the secret library. That's guardian with a body and mind "honed like a sword".

Glad to see another series by Ellery Adams. I enjoyed the Charmed Pie Shoppe and Books by the Bay Mysteries as well. This was a very good cozy mystery and I look forward to the next Book Retreat Mystery Murder in the Jane Austen Parlor due summer of 2015.
