This was a stunner for me. I had several false starts & had to pause frequently since the subtitles go so fast I struggled to adjust. Brilliant, amazing statement to the testimony of cruelty one group of people can do to another, all through greed, ignorance, hatred. I loved the struggle to move the 'pavers' while the man didn't understand the full measure. The ending is so perfectly fitting & beautiful. so glad I viewed this.

This is a story about war crime committed by several Polish families, against their Jewish residents, in a small village in Poland during the War. Very engaging, and with a shocking ending. In Polish with subtitles.
