Presents never-before-seen-evidence that points to genetically engineered foods as a major contributor to rising disease rates in the US population, especially among children. Gastrointestinal disorders, allergies, inflammatory diseases, and infertility are just some of the problems implicated in humans, pets, livestock, and lab animals that eat genetically modified soybeans and corn. Monsanto's strong arm tactics, the FDA's fraudulent policies, and how the USDA ignores a growing health emergency are also discussed. This documentary may change your diet, help you protect your family, and accelerate the consumer tipping point against genetically modified organisms.

This is a 2012 documentary directed and produced by Jeffrey M. Smith.
A variety of American organic food companies see Smith "as a champion for their interests", and Smith's supporters describe him as "arguably the world's foremost expert on the topic of genetically modified foods".
In contrast, "The New Yorker" reported that Smith was presented as a "scientist" on The Dr. Oz Show despite his lack of any scientific experience or relevant qualifications.
Bruce Chassy, a molecular biologist and food scientist, wrote that Smith's "only professional experience prior to taking up his crusade against biotechnology is as a ballroom-dance teacher, yogic flying instructor, and political candidate for the Maharishi cult’s natural-law party."
The director of the Organic Consumers Association says Smith is "respected as a public educator on GMOs", while "supporters of biotechnology" have described him as "misinformed and misleading".
Although some people accuse Smith of being "an activist with no scientific or medical background" and claim that Smith's views amount to near-hysterical criticism, the film is quite convincing that GMO really damages human beings.

I checked this out thinking it was a documentary about genetics. Unfortunately it is just another Fictional Anti-Science food-scare video. Jeffrey Smith, the guy who makes this trash, was a "Yogic flyer" previously. So he's always been a liar who preys on Stupid Americans. The "organic" food industry is far more dishonest & dangerous than the GMOs, which have never hurt anyone, but rather save millions of starving kids, etc. If you're scared of things you don't understand, try talking to a scientist.

This is absolutely MUST watch! Everybody! Hard, hard facts and evidence. If people in Europe understand this and can do something about it, why Americans or Canadians can not? Please spread the news about this documentary so evrybody knows these GMO scams.

Incredibly horrifying! This is a must watch for anyone who has children or prepares food for others! The library needs to buy at least 10 more copies of this!

With the March 2013 signing of the "Monsanto Protection Act" by President Obama, this DVD viewing is more important than ever (grants legal protections to Monsanto - - much the same way the Private Securities Litigation Reform Act granted legal exemption from securities fraud to the attorneys, accountants and derivative dealers/brokers which led to the global economic meltdown - - which continues to this very day and far into the future)! With the Gates Foundation (and Rockefeller Foundation) heavily pushing and promoting the global adoption of GMOs, especially throughout Africa and America, we are near or at the endgame in this matter.

Truly shocking. I am really surprised that this issue has gotten so little attention. I had never heard that GMO crops can cause leaky gut/intestinal permeability because the crops have been modified to produce BT Toxin (Bacillus Thuringiensis.) That's exactly how the BT toxin kills insects, by harming the insects' digestive systems. Scary stuff.
