New York Times Bestseller

Kira, Samm, and Marcus fight to prevent a final war between Partials and humans in the gripping final installment in the Partials Sequence, a series that combines the thrilling action of The Hunger Games with the provocative themes of Blade Runner and The Stand.

There is no avoiding it--the war to decide the fate of both humans and Partials is at hand. Both sides hold in their possession a weapon that could destroy the other, and Kira Walker has precious little time to prevent that from happening. She has one chance to save both species and the world with them, but it will only come at great personal cost.

While this book has a complicated plot, the conclusion is not nearly as satisfying as it could of been. However, it is very interesting and I would recommend reading.

I read this for the "Set In a Post-Apocalyptic World" part of my 2019 reading challenge. I didn't love it as much as the first two books, I think I had too much of a gap in between reading them. I found having so many groups of characters to be a bit confusing, and the ending felt too sudden and accidental.

For some reason a part of me almost loathed the book a bit throughout. I mean, the characters were all great, realistic, and such, but they didn't appeal to me as much as characters in other books. The plot was intriguing and full of suspense, but it wasn't enough. There was a lot that may have interested any medical school students and readers, but it just didn't seem interesting from my own perspective. The relationships in this book really didn't develop in that detail I expected. Otherwise, the book was okay and it flowed rather well. I really do like reading about Heron though. Right till the end. 3.5/5 stars

Too many words to cover too little plot. Couldn't bring myself to drag through the last 2/3 of the book. Same with the second book... I only read it because I thought to myself "Give it a chance, it may get better". Nope, it didn't :/

This book had promise, but the ending was anticlimactic. Have to say I enjoyed the first 2 books much more than this one,

I wasn't as interested in this novel as the others. I thought the first book was good, but after that I started to get tired of the general conception/direction.

Why is Samm listed as female? Is there something that I am totally missing from the last two books?! :O
