Honestly, after reading the first series, Slave to Sensation by Nalini Singh, I have become addicted to reading her other works. The work of characters and events is action packed and filled with a touch of romance. I love this book and its descriptions.

I greatly enjoyed Slave to Sensation--1st book in Singh's Psy-Changeling series-- as I'm finding Lucas and his fellow Leopard Changelings to be rather fun and interesting characters. Wild Embrace is the newest book of the series, and I also love the Jaguar Changeling, Vaughn, as well as the Wildcat Changeling, Zara. The various " wild" Cats Changelings have been my favorite characters in the Psy-Changeling series. Soon, there will be a 2nd...slightly different Psy-Changeling series, though I'm not sure of the name of the new series.

l found this book the starter of the Psy-Changeling series to be the book that introduces all the main character. While like i am finding with the other books in the series, it does focus on one character particularly it does have a huge mix of fantasy with that stream filled sections of romance.

My first Nalini Singh book! I've heard enough about her and this series, but shifter book are not for me, so I never tried one. Then the wise publisher put this first book on NetGalley.
I really enjoyed the Psy world, and I thought that Sascha was a brave, interesting character. She believes she's dying, so that probably helps her be more open to new things.
I still don't care for shifters. I went through a phase when I read a lot of them, but then one day I read one-too-many descriptions of pack politics and how you can't look at an Alpha the wrong way or he's within his rights to kill you, and I was done.
These shifters (so far) are feline, which maybe explains how they share a lot of physical affection. But there's still the Alpha dynamic, the swearing of loyalty, and the constant referral to the inner panther who has instincts and urges. It's just totally not for me.
However! I like the mixing of the Psy and Changeling worlds (what a great idea, she should write a whole series about it). It kept me from being overloaded on the Changeling world, and the romance felt strong enough. So I'm going to read the next one.

This is a paranormal romance worth reading. Though some might be disappointed and call this a book with too much background rather than story, I say it is to be expected with the fact that it is meant to be a series. If there was more plot development then what Singh actually wrote into the book I would have been disappointed because that would have meant the story was movign way to fast. I was happy with the place of this book and it kept me entertained. I would definitely recomment this book and the rest of the series if you want something that has a little more plot and depth than just straight romance. Also the later books in the series I think get better.

I have read all the others already so it was nice to finally read Lucas and Sasha's story and it was very good.

I love Nalani, and am looking forward to reading the rest of her Psy Series. This one especially was wonderful. This is the first in the series as far as my mind goes. LOVE IT

Sure this was a fun, interesting read (and an easy read at that). Curious about the next and next...

This book is a stark reminder not to judge a book by it's cover...or title. Neither would have encouraged me to pick this up, but on a recommendation from a friend I did and loved it.
In a world full of paranormal fantasy copycats this is a refreshingly unique story.
