Heather Wells is used to having her cake and eating it too, but this time her cake just might be cooked. Her wedding cake, that is.

With her upcoming nuptials to PI Cooper Cartwright only weeks away, Heather's already stressed. And when a pretty junior turns up dead, Heather's sure things can't get worse--until every student in the dorm where she works is a possible suspect, and Heather's long-lost mother shows up.

Heather has no time for a tearful mother and bride reunion. She has a wedding to pull off and a murder to solve. Instead of wedding bells, she might be hearing wedding bullets, but she's determined to bring the bad guys to justice if it's the last thing she does . . . and this time, it just might be.

Meg Cabot really hit the home run for me in this ebook, The Bride Wore Size 12 because I kept wanting to read more about Heather and the mysteries that awaited me. Heather Wells is all grown up and working in a dorm, planning for her wedding nuptials. But she is pulled into something more bizarre than ever when a junior shows up murdered and everyone is a suspect. This ebook will have you flipping through the pages and reading the entire thing in one sitting. One of my favourite mysteries of all time, and so underrated! Meg Cabot should continue to make these novels because I’m sure she will be praised for them. Rating 5/5

Overall I really enjoyed this series. I've found it incredibly easy to pick up each book in the series as they're released and immediately get back into the story. As always, I love Meg Cabot books. Her ability to create original stories with well developed characters is getting to be rare in the young adult genre. The only reason I didn't give it a full 5 stars is because I felt like this book was very similar to the others in this series, with the characters up to their usual shenanigans, just with a new mystery to solve. That being said, the plot had some pretty decent surprises that I didn't see coming. I'd definitely check this book out if you enjoyed the other Heather Wells mysteries.

I really like Heather Wells as a character but don't know why anyone would ever enroll at New York U as someone is always dying! lol

I really enjoyed this book although I didn't read it in the order that the series goes. A real page turner!

I would give this newest edition to the Heather Wells series a 3.5. Overall I did enjoy reading up on all of the characters again, and there is no question that I adore Cooper, but it just felt like more of the same again and the action or mystery part of it wasn't as interesting or captivating as the others in the series.

The Death Dorm has suddenly become 'THE' residence hall to live in on campus now that Prince Rashid had taken over the top floor. When a RA shows up dead after attending one of his parties, Heather tries to help solve the murder, certain the Prince has something to hide; and boy, does he. And Heather's in a time crunch; her wedding to PI Cooper is just weeks away. Not stressed enough? Just add a long lost mother, who she hasn't seen since she left the country with all Heather's once-upon-a-time pop singing fortune. Love the Heather Wells series and have enjoyed watching the cast of characters develop and grow. Awww, Heather's all grown up and about to get married!

I'm not a big mystery fan but I always love the Heather Wells ones! Great book!

Love the Heather Wells character and her friends and family! What's a former pop singing legend to do when another student turns up dead and the mother that ran away with Heather's money and manager reappears in time for her wedding! Another fun addition to this series.
