If you’d like to explore Canada and Canadians who made a huge difference in our country and world-wide, then, look no further than Kenneth McGoogan’s 50 Canadians Who Changed the World. Very informative, well written, nicely balanced (there is just enough information and you feel completely satisfied – you don’t get bored and you don’t become overloaded with facts). (more)

Left-leaning but otherwise intelligent. No photos of the 50!?!

Interesting read about some utterly amazing lives. Perfect book for when you only have time to read little bits here and there, as most of the bios are just a few pages long.
