The topic seems interesting but the audio book just doesn't work. The author reads the book and it just doesn't work . The book at times feels like a college paper with someone trying to meet a word count

Teatacular history of the origins of tea; I did not know I was taking tea-ology class. 4th disc had a few "clifthanging" moments due to scratches. I really went out and had a more indepth
look at the various teas discussed even tried seaping it similar. Looking forward to going on a botanist mini expedition; wow those methods of collecting and cultivating plants from cuttings is remarkable if they did it in the simpliest form in those antique times these high price methods may be over kill....tea...tacular book not to over look. 5 cups tea to teabook.

The story was fascinating but the narrator (author) wasn't the best with inflections and emphasis when delivering the message. Story gets 3 1/2 stars, narrator 1 1/2.

Audiobook: The author tries to read her own work, which really didn't work for me. Her voice is extremely irritating, so I had to give up after a while as she was driving me crazy.
It's a shame, because the subject sounds really interesting. I'll find time to read the book instead.
Why couldn't they get somebody "good" to read it instead?
