Fast-paced; kept my attention. Kirsten Potter is an excellent reader and well-suited to the book. Good commute listen.

Extremely exciting and suspenseful! I've read quite a number of Lisa Gardner's mysteries and she never disappoints. Detective DD Warren is a pretty hard, driven character, but she softens a bit in this book and that was nice to see. As in all of her books, there is a huge twist at the end.

Usually a reader of classic works and modern award fiction, I picked up this dimestore detective novel because I was out of reading material, and was pleasantly surprised by the tight writing style of Gardner. The characters were well-developed and the plot interesting. I had the suspect pretty much figured out early on, but Gardner scripted some well developed red-herrings that made me keep doubting my own suppositions, which I liked.

Good, solid, exciting read. 7 of 10 for me.
