I couldn't take this story and found that the protagonist had no pride or backbone...Like the other said, not a lot of character development. I won't read this author again.

As usual Ms. Barrett comes through with a winner. I have been loving this series and hope that there are still many more to come. I am getting very fond of the characters and find myself rooting for Grant Baker to be the man for Tricia.

Only an OK read, though I may try others in the series. Characters don't have much depth and the heroine is almost pitiable in her constant need for a man in her life. The murder seems almost secondary. As for the setting, I guess it's a tourist town but with so many bookstores and cafes, how does such a small place sustain them. None ever seem to have any customers!

The scene where Angelica burns down the tv station is hilarious to me... and spooky! Great addition to the series, although I expected the "surprise" last sentence to happen at the beginning of the book based on the last couple of outings.

Love this series!

Good book as usual, but the characters don't seem to be going anywhere (i.e. not much character development).

This series takes place in a cozy little book town. After reading each book it makes you wish there was a town like this that you could go visit. Of course, with out all the murder. Well written series. The author has started another series but I like this one a little better.

another murder in this cozy town, past and broken relationships add conflict and barriers to finding the culprit.
