Even the black Marine is a red-neck. Rural Florida is pretty accurately depicted for the wild and wooly days of the 70's when half the population was involved in some part of the drug culture.

I was not bowled over by the plot in this book. It seemed too "compact" to be true. I mean all this activity going on in a small town. And all the culprits, including the money printer, are from this small area. Still a good read, but rather a little far fetched.
