"Hayward's darkly comic novel of adolescent anxiety reveals an unforgettable family caught in a state of mourning. Meet Jim Morrison - not the lead singer of the Doors, but a chubby 17-year-old living in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Jim has been living a largely invisible life, overshadowed by his older brother, Mike, popular and charismatic, and his father, Fort, a stern and unyielding engineer. But everything changes the night the library explodes and Mike is killed..."--Publisher.

Meh. Not a book I'll remember, but an okay read.

An easy read - it'll make you laugh and make you cry. It's a story about a slightly disfunctional family following the death of a son - told from the point of view of a teenage boy. He's quirky but very entertaining.
