This video may be more interesting if the reader is prepared. There is no narration, only the voices of the people who were involved in the life of Klaus Barbie. They were all German, thus the entire video is in German with subtitles. Difficult to follow if one is not right in front of the screen reading every word of the subtitles.

By focusing on Klaus Barbie, this film takes an exhausting look at the Holocaust and German and French complicity, as well as the CIA's role in using former Nazis to pursue their own anti-Communist goals following World War II. Also surprising is the humor and playfulness exhibited in parts of the film as Marcel Ophuls comes of as a pre-Michael Moore.
