Add a CommentI had high hopes for this book because it's written by one of the UK's first cat behaviourists, and I enjoyed her first book, Cat Confidential. There are a lot of lovely images of cats, but I found them more suitable for a cat photo book and not always on point (e.g. p. 73 two cats cuddling aiming to show kittens growing apart as they mature). Suggested cat toys on p. 116 included hair bands and tin foil, which are dangerous for cats if swallowed. Rehoming a challenging cat (p. 127) also seemed like giving up, although it may be true in some circumstances. There are many good tips here, but they need to be read with caution.
