Liam O'Connor should have died at sea in 1912. Maddy Carter should have died on a plane in 2010. Sal Vikram should have died in a fire in 2026. When Maddy mistakenly opens a time window where and when she shouldn't have, Liam is marooned sixty-five million years ago in the hunting ground of a deadly - and until now - undiscovered species of predator. This book is exciting and good for fans of action, but it isn't amazing. The characters aren't compelling, and frankly some of the book's moral implications are disturbing and could have been mined for more drama.

Broken Claw peered down at the strange, non-clawed creatures. Although defenceless, they were smart. They had killed one of his brothers with a smart-stick, and they had somehow created a up-ing and down-ing 'bridge' across the river, connecting the island to the jungle. If only Broken Claw and his raptor family could harness that skill........ An awesome book with double helpings of action, excitement and hungry dinosaurs. 10/10. Can't wait for number six, City Of Shadows!

A wild ride through the jungle in the second book of the Time Riders series. Although not all the kids made it out alive, and a few body parts were found lying around the jungle floor, this was a very good book and I really enjoyed it a lot. It got very exciting through the second half and ended with a crazy cliff hanger. If you loved the first book then read the second one by all means. Day of the Predator is a 9.5/10 from me.

A very good follow up to Time Riders. This time it was dealing with the dinos, and that got a bit gory. Aside from the gore it was another great adventure book that I enjoyed. I just hope the Library get the third book Doomsday Code because this one had a real cliff-hanger ending. A 9.5/10 for me.

Violence: Body parts are found and kids are killed in brutal way by sickeningly smart dinos. Watch you're back!
