From the author of Wreck This Journal , an interactive guide for exploring and documenting the art and science of everyday life.

Artists and scientists analyse the world around them in surprisingly similar ways, by observing, collecting, documenting, analysing, and comparing. In this captivating guided journal, readers are encouraged to explore their world as both artists and scientists.

The mission Smith proposes? 'To document and observe the world around you. As if you've never seen it before. Take notes. Collect things you find on your travels. Document findings. Notice patterns. Copy. Trace. Focus on one thing at a time. Record what you are drawn to.'

With a series of interactive prompts and a beautifully hand-illustrated two-colour package, readers will enjoy exploring and discovering the world through this gorgeous book.

Neat little book, shares some similarities with the author's other book on creative destruction--the book is a tackle box and a canvas. Didn't get the full effect on a public library copy that I don't care to damage. Who is this book for? Creative folks who are timid and want to ease into the bath. The author directs exercises meant to make art more accessible, to downplay originality, to fun it up a bit. This book is for everyone, only limit is your imagination.
