"While there are other titles that share the focus, age level, and general coverage of this volume, it's hard to beat the attractiveness of the layout and the beauty of the illustrations found here. This book provides an excellent glimpse at Ancient Greece, from the people to the gods, from farming to warfare, and much more. It's a great book for kids and even for adults who want an overview of Ancient Greece.
