"Cat Peters will do anything to participate in Darkmont High's student exchange to Sweden, even if it means endless fundraising and striking a bargain with her teachers. Hanging out with friends in a foreign country, traveling without parents, not having a kid sister to keep an eye on it sounds like the trip of a lifetime! And finally, Cat will be free from the constant worry of Grim Hill. But in order to afford the trip Cat must make a major sacrifice: letting her little sister Sookie tag along, which means both of them will be staying with their great-aunt Hildegaard, who has a startling secret of her own. It turns out Cat is not the first fairy fighter in the family, and the skills she's learned battling Grim Hill's evil creatures will come in handy against an ancient Scandinavian threat. The tales of witches, elves and trolls are eerily familiar to Cat, and soon she and her friends are trying to unravel a frightening new mystery."

The 4th in the Grim Hill series. Cat and her sister Sookie go on an exchange program to Sweden. Are witches and trolls real or just imaginary? Good series with strong characters and well defined bad guys!

The fourth installment in the thrilling "Grim Hill" series has Cat Peters and her friends on an international adventure!

Cat, Clive, Jasper, and the rest of the "Grim Hill" crew are back, and everyone is buzzing about Darkmont High’s student exchange to Sweden. For Cat it means hanging out with her friends in a foreign country, traveling without parents, and not having to keep an eye on her clingy kid sister. Even though Sookie’s magical meddling seems to be in check, Cat has been wishing for a break from the constant worry of living near Grim Hill.

After all that she's been through, Cat knows to be careful what she wishes for. In this spellbound town, nestled in the shadow of Grim Hill, wishes have a tendency to turn against you. But this time, she isn’t wishing for anything in this town; she is wishing to get out of it – that has to be safe, right?
