One of the best books I ever read! Stone Voice Rising got my imagination up and going, kept me on my toes, and made the hair on the back of my neck stand up on at least one occasion.

I'm sure that this is just the beginning of a new series. It basically is a good (children) vs. evil (corporate) story, but there is so much more to it than that. The characters are very completely crafted and you care about them from the beginning.
