Love the Icelandic black and white Hulda stripe sweater and it is a perfect design for my taste. The Unnur Icelandic Pullover is another sweater I would like to make. The “Moth” short sleeve sweater is darling. The Swedish “Ola” Placket Pullover in white with bits of red pattern is gorgeous. Want to try /figure out the twine cast-on. I am just getting back into knitting as I learned to knit from my Swedish/American mother in my youth. Beautiful knitting history on the Scandinavian countries. I would buy this book.

Gorgeously laid-out book and there are about half a dozen patterns I'd love to try at some point, including the cover shot, the slippers, and the mittens with a bird.

From my quick glance through the book, there is lace, color work, and many traditional motifs from Northern Europe and Scandinavia. Several sweaters use gradient-dyed yarn resulting in a beautiful, soft transition of colors.
