This book is my favorite book. It touched my very own heart by telling the story of two girls and the exchanging of a heart. It was a book that had my heart racing and my fingers eager to turn the page!

I really enjoyed reading about the hardships that Eagan and Amelia went through after the skating accident. I found it very interesting how Amelia struggled to appreciate the gift of a new heart. I also like how Eagan's mom put a lot of stress on Eagan that brought a lot of very interesting drama to the scene and now Eagan has to repair her broken life at home from a whole new perspective. This was a very good bookend if you haven't read it yet i would definitely recommend this book to anyone

Really sad book

As an E.S. Librarian I decided to read this book. Well written. An interesting way of dealing with and trying to explain a very difficult subject, to a young person. Written from the point of view of the two young people involved. Probably not a good fit for an E.S. but definitely Middle school or H.S.

I am sure that many people will be jealous that I have never had anyone in my life die which might be why I couldn't get into this book but I understand that this would be my go to book to help me cope if someone I loved died. It really shows reconciliation of relationships when one dies and the emotional pain that some people experience when undergoing transplants. But the true essence of this book is accepting death and finding closure. I can see why people would love this book but I personally couldn't get emotionally attached.

That book was amazing! I have to admit I cried a couple of times. It was so sad when Eagan's mom threw out her cake. This book is perfect for anybody who loves romance novels, and also anybody who doesn't really like romance novels as much. It's definitely worth reading.

This book was beautiful. You learn so much about Eagan and Amelia, and how different they are. It is not suspenseful, but you always want to know what happens to Eagan, if she makes peace with her life on earth which is now out of her control. And Amelia who is so lost and confused about having another girls heart. It's a light read but still worth it.

"I think she liked to skate."
Mrs. Keely's eyebrows shot up. "How do you know that?"
