I have enjoyed a number of books written by Dean Koontz, but not this one. It was fractured, in my opinion, didn't tie all the loose ends up, as most Koontz's books do, and the story lines were jumbled. An explanation as to why some of the things happened would have been nice, just did not like this novel.

I thoroughly enjoyed this! It had an abrupt ending and I wish it had continued. It is very different but special and makes you smile a lot. Kind of a fantasy thing, I guess. Worth listening to!

definitely my least favorite koontz book. I'll give him credit for tying thinngs together because for a whie it was just a random collection of characters doing separate things. So it actually made a little sense in the end but...was still a complete downer.

Talk about a letdown. After a great and interesting start this story takes a nosedive. I don't understand why Koontz could not keep it together as he drifts further away from the topic of interest as the story goes along. 3 of 10 stars
