"Down among the dead men" has a great pun to end the episode: "Well, well, well." A blackmailer gets murdered and one of his victims did it. But there are multiple victims so we must work through them all. In addition to murder there is dishonesty enough to satisfy the nay sayers of life. One of the actresses went on to play Miss Marple. Here she is a likeable but inveterate kleptomaniac.
Good show and a good story. What struck me this time is that Inspector Barnaby didn't even look at the first body. That was really strange. At no time did we know that he even knew who the victim was and how he looked. This may be a problem due to having different writers, producers, etc. for, almost, each episode.
