Retracing his own spiritual journey from atheism to faith, Lee Strobel, former legal editor of the Chicago Tribune, cross-examines recognized experts in their own fields and challenges them with questions like: How reliable is the New Testament? Does evidence for Jesus exist outside the Bible? Is there any reason to believe the resurrection was an actual event?...

This yr 2007 on Strobel is the documentary story/presentation. Based on his popular life story written in the book The Case for Christ, autobiography of Strobel, first published yr 1998

This dvd movie is the 1980's setting, dramatization of Strobel's search for the meaning of Christianity, as explained by some expert scholars, flowing thru the movie story.
Slow moving, but of interest.

Disappointingly, the 'experts' that Strobel consults to confirm/deny the existence of Jesus as Christ, are primariliy from institutions, seminars that believe in a literal reading of the Bible. They gloss over the inconsistencies that run all throughout the four canonical gospels. Though this 'documentary' makes for a feel good "I was an aetheist and now I believe" story, the 'evidence' he cites is biased, at best.
