A laugh-out-loud, warmhearted story about a woman reliving her youth (and not just the good parts). Plenty of thirty-something women would be thrilled to look like a teenager. But journalist Kathy Hopkins wishes she could be taken a little more seriously or at least order a glass of wine without being ID’d. Now her youthful appearance is forcing her into an undercover assignment posing as a freshman at a small arts college where, rumour has it, a secret prostitution ring is flourishing. It could mean a jump start for her career, but right now, pretending to be eighteen means late night parties, a moody roommate named Tiffany who is obsessed with Clay Aiken and most embarrassing of all, having a major crush on a guy who’s just turned legal. The author’s humourous debut novel serves up romance with a bit of social commentary on the state of being single.
