This book would make any ethical restorer cringe. It is "cowboy" restoring: "let's screw an iron strap to a cracked leg!" "make sure you beat any replaced leg or board with chains to match the original!". "driving an iron bar through a leg is a great repair!" I won't even talk about the author's idea of repairing finishes.
